Hector Jam the Gym

“Jam the Gym” originated in Bird Island, MN in 1996 and continues to be a high-energy, fun event for the entire family! The event was relocated to Hector in 2025. 

TOMF’s “Jam the Gym” will be in Hector – Saturday, March 29, 2025.

For the TOMF Kids

“Jam the Gym” isn’t just about basketball or slam dunks, it’s about helping families when they need it most. Prior to each “Jam the Gym” event in Bird Island, we invite all previous and new recipients to join us at the event! We have a recipient room where families can connect with each other, building lifelong relationships and support systems. In addition to the community support the night of, the funds raised at the event go directly to the kids and their families in need.

Basketball

Not only do we have NBA mascots join us, we also have local celebrity athletes! Senior boys and girls basketball players from area schools compete in all-star games and three-point contests.

Entertainment

Each and every year, the “Jam the Gym” event in Hector features unique entertainment that can’t be found anywhere else under one roof! See dunk teams, amazing gymnastics, dance, and so much more! Every year our entertainment and special guests are a little different, so stay tuned!

Raffle & Silent Auction

Raffle tickets to win a cash prize on the night of the event can be purchased ahead of time or the night of. We also have numerous silent auction items including signed sports memorabilia and products and services from generous local businesses. We are so grateful to our donors and those who bid generously at the auction. All the funds raised go back to the kids!
*Raffle tickets are also sold at the Winthrop Jam the Gym Event.

Concessions

The event offers full concessions, so bring your appetite. Limited edition TOMF event t-shirts are also available for sale, but stop early in the evening to get your size before it sells out!
